Replacing the UV lamp is a quick and easy process that does not require any special skills or tools. To replace the lamp, follow these steps: 1. Disconnect the UV system from power and let it cool down for a few minutes. 2. Turn off the water supply and drain all water from the system before removing the lamp. 3. Wear gloves to prevent contaminating the lamp surface. 4. Slowly pull the lamp cord away from the chamber and carefully disconnect the lamp from the cord. Avoid touching the glass part of the lamp. 5. Remove the lamp from the chamber, being careful not to angle it, as this could damage the quartz sleeve. 6. Slide the new UV lamp inside the quartz sleeve and attach the ballast to the lamp. 7. Slide the assembly inside the stainless steel reactor chamber and cover the end to secure the lamp.

The lamp can be mounted vertically or horizontally. If installed vertically, the incoming water should flow from the bottom of the housing, moving upwards.

For the first-time installation of the UV lamp, it is recommended to position the quartz sleeve horizontally for better sealing purposes.
